Certain types of content work better in specific browsers and it can be annoying when you click a link in an offline application, it opens up in your default browser and you find out that you actually have to copy and paste the link in another browser. BrowserSelect addresses this inconvenience in a simple manner. This simple application lets you choose what browser to use when you click a link outside your web browser.

BrowserSelect is absolutely free and you can have it up and running in no time. It works on all popular Windows platforms and it doesn't ask for any special tools or services. The installation process is straightforward, so you don't have to deal with any confusing options along the way.

When you launch the application, you will be greeted by a compact window, with large icons, corresponding to your installed browsers. You can launch any of these browsers right away, by simply clicking its icon. Furthermore, whenever you click a web link, this window will show up on the screen immediately, so you can decide which browser to use for that link.

The application provides support for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer and other browsers. The best part is that you don't have to make any complex preparations. Installing the application and setting it as your default browser is all you have to do. To make sure that BrowserSelect works properly, you must open its general settings menu and set it as your default browser, which can be done with a single click.

BrowserSelect makes clicking a link outside your browser a more comfortable experience.

Pros

The application lets you choose a browser when you click a link in any installed application. It can be installed quickly and easily and it doesn't ask for too many resources.

Cons
